The elevators on the bottom is to prevent molerats events entirely. The subterranean 2-wides are residential (one is an overseer right now)Ħ layers of training rooms, 2 rooms of each type, similar room on same level.From what I read, this helps to make raids room orders much more predictable, as they will go full right, down, full left, down, and so on. The 2-wide room on the ground floor is currently storage but just as easily could have been overseer's room.
